Why do you continue to live there?

I stayed in the US for thirty years. New York City in the early 80s was great, but the bad parts of America increased and the good parts dwindled.

And yes, Amsterdam is more boring than New York City. Boredom sounds bad, but when you compare it to stress and outright fear...

"May you live in interesting times" is a curse, not a blessing.
