Why is it that the most popular language in the world is a "disaster"?
You don't say, except that you don't like seeing people call subprocesses. Well, I hate seeing people open paint tins with screwdrivers, but it works very well, and it means nothing about how effective a screwdriver is.

And why would you work in a language you hated for thirty years? (Python 1.0 came out in 1994.)
