The Germanwings crash resulted in new recommendations in at least some countries that at least two members of the crew be in the cockpit at all times.

Perhaps if the Egypt Air 990 mass murder hadn’t been whitewashed, the Greenwings crash could have been avoided by adopting that very rule earlier.
