Wow, I had forgotten, but you bring me back. I remember thinking the same thing at the time!
I did a tiny bit of "research" but I didn't find a convincing argument as to why Adobe did it, except "Steve Jobs was angry" which isn't so convincing!
I have numerous other questions I suspect I won't get answered.
I suspect that am one of the few people who read the 9/11 Commission report, and I am completely convinced that Al Qaeda did hijack planes and fly them into the WTC, which consequentially collapsed: I basically believe the official story.
However, the 9/11 report is also full of contradictions and holes. These are easily explained by the fact that the commission ran out of money - the report starts with an apology - but what really happened in these details?
Exactly how did a passport from one of the hijackers end up on top of a pile of rubble, completely undamaged? What's with the dancing Israelis? What's with the kid who a week before pointed at the WTC out a window and said, "It won't be there next week!" (Where was Dick Cheney? The 9/11 report has him in two different parts of the country at the same time on 9/11. Probably that was just confusion. And what was in his safes that "caught fire" afterward? I expect this was graft.)
I read those both originally in the New York Times, FFS. The FBI investigated both of these and simply said, nothing to worry about.
Again, I think 9/11 happened very much as the authorities claim! I'm just curious about these details and a few others in other areas, but I suspect I'll never know.
