But I really don't believe the initial poll. "Honesty" and "consistency" are not Republican values. If it comes down to some disgusting Republican liar vs a Democrat, all of these people will forget the recent past and vote for the human garbage. And if the Democratic candidate is female, or a person of color, or both, this effect will be redoubled. Heck, I know at least one Democratic woman who sat out 206 because she didn't want a woman to be President, which is mind-blowing in a sad and awful way.
