You act as if we have unlimited resources.

But we don't.

We need to prioritize saving the biosphere of the planet we are living on today. Don't tell me we can do both; we aren't doing either.

Once we see some hope of saving our own ecosystem so our grandchildren can actually live, only then should we spend the quadrillions that it would take to colonize Mars.

For millennia to come, perhaps forever, nearly every human will be born, live, and die on Earth. We need to cherish and stabilize our own planet first.
