You can easily guess why. Maybe in the back of his head, he still believed in Hell, and suspected he was going there. HAHAHAHA.

As an atheist, I have to say that I do often regret the non-existence of Hell, as a place to put the Nixons, Reagans, Bushes, Cheneys and Trumps of the world.
