I'm a hard-core leftist. I detest Pence for a host of reasons, but he is more or less sane, unlike Trump! (In my heart, I don't consider any theist fully sane, but I know I'm in a minority.)

Also, this idea that we can't overthrow one monster because the next monster might be worse is defeatist. Overthrow Trump first and then if Pence is bad, use the momentum to overthrow him, too.

I assure you — if Trump were deposed, it would definitely take a lot of wind out of the psychopath-American demographic. Pence might not rule like Caligula if he knew there might be consequences from seeing Trump in a New York State penitentiary for tax fraud.
