You emit this argument as if it were sane.

This is the same argument I heard about Trump - "Yes, he's a sociopath, but he's honest about it."

The Republicans tell us they want to ban gay marrriage, and birth control, and interracial marrriage. They say the climate emergency is a hoax and want to prevent any measures to stop it - think America needs more pollution. They publicly yearn for a Christian Nationalist government.

I detest the Democrats - I left America forever because they were never going to put up a fight - but to suggest support the Republicans, not because you support their evil and wildly destructive policies, but simply "because you understand what they are fighting for" - it's not rational.
