You go on to say that Britain is evil - which I agree with.

But the stupid Falklands War was - for once! - not Britain's fault.

The Falklands had had repeated referendums about whether to leave Britain and join Argentina, or become independent, but each time staying with Britain won by a large majority.

Then the collapsing Junta known as the Five Generals decided to boost their own popularity by using force to capture these tiny and economically worthless islands.

Very unfortunately, the rational argument, "It's a tiny little island and not worth having a war over," fails in a democracy, because of "national pride". And of course, the leader of Britain was the aggressive and compassionless Margret "Monstrous" Thatcher.

Again, Britain has been a fairly systematic force for evil on the world stage, but Galtieri et al were responsible for the Falklands War, specifically.

Great article, have claps!
