You say this like it's a good thing.

But American democracy would end for a generation.

If the incumbent Republicans systematically use their office to cheat and there are no consequences, then blatant, relentless cheating will be every election for the next thirty years, which means the Democrats will never get a look in.

I'm sick to death of the Democrats, but this would be an unparalleled disaster for America and the world.
