You seem unaware of the fact that Ukraine applied for membership in NATO a few years ago, and was turned down, for fear of angering Russia.
It seems to be your idea that Russia gets a veto on what organization other sovereign countries on its borders can join. Can you explain the moral and ethical reasoning behind this, beyond "might makes right"?
When it comes down to it, you seem to think that a country joining NATO - a voluntary association! - is equivalent to Russia invading that country - because you keep equating "NATO expanding" with "Russia invading".
