You would never think from reading your article that our population is in fact continuing to grow, at about 0.9% per year, though this rate is slowing, and our consumption is increasing at about 2% a year, and this number is growing.

Your argument appears to be this: "Exponentially increasing consumption and population have no yet destroyed the planet, so they never will."

I call this argument "the Doug". My friend Doug had diabetes, but drank Coke and smoked cigarettes. His argument was that he had survived so far this way.

And indeed, he survived five heart attacks, but not the sixth. RIP Doug.

I would summarize your article as wildly irrational and irresponsible. No claps.
