Your argument appears to be that tone of voice is important, but truth or falsehood is not.

But the fact is that the person I replied to was essentially lying. NO, you are not putting a worker in danger by ordering a delivery - in fact, the reverse is true, curbside delivery is safer.

It's 2021. We've been barraged by lies for years now, and we've been assaulted with lies about COVID-19 for over a year. So I have no tolerance at all for lies about public health these days.

It's doubly intolerable when the person lying also claims to be a therapist - in other words, we have someone who's supposed to be helping other people instead spreading transparent, dangerous lies.

I prioritize the truth, and public health, over tone of voice. You should too.
