Your unsupported statement has just as little value as the unsupported statement it contradicts.
The original writer is more or less right.
24% of greenhouse gas emissions come directly from agriculture. Electricity production accounts for 25%, a tiny bit more - however, some of that electricity is used in agriculture. There are also big chunks in "transportation" (and we transport a lot of food) and "industry", which includes a huge amount of industrial food production.
If you added up all the greenhouse gasses produced in growing your food (agriculture), processing it (industry), and getting it to your table (transportation), that would almost certainly be the largest single cause of the climate emergency.

Going plant-based is the easiest and most effective way to drop your climate change footprint overnight. You probably can't control how you get to work, how you heat your house, or that sort of thing, but you can stop eating meat and dairy, particularly beef which is wildly destructive, overnight!
