You're talking about making friends with literal Nazis because a small number of leftists said offensive things.

I live in a city where tens of thousands of our citizens, mostly Jews, were dragged out of their homes to nearly all die in concentration camps, run by the right wing. My grandfather spent years in a Fascist PoW camp, though he lived to tell the tale.

These people were killed or imprisoned by the right wing, and saved by the left. Remember your history.
